GA Flying Visit to Coburg

For contemporary glass aficionados, Coburg is associated with the Coburg Prize for Contemporary Glass which started more than 30 years ago and has been pulling crowds ever since. The 177 exhibits, selected by an International jury from 150 artists from 26 nations, are simply a ‘must’ see so, if you have a free weekend at the end of June, why don’t you join the Glass Association to see this stunning glass exhibition and enjoy the many museums and galleries of Veste Coburg.
27 June - Fly from Stansted to Nuremberg and then catch the fast local train from Nuremberg to Coburg . Dinner at Krautergartlein and overnight at Bestwestern Blankenburg
28 June - Visit the exhibition held at Veste Coburg and the European Glass Museum at Rosenau (over 1000 sq.m)
29 June - Train from Coburg to Nuremberg and fly back to Stansted

Provided we reach a minimum of 6 participants, Brian will lead the group and make all the necessary arrangements.
